My Approach

Yoga for all

“If you can breathe, you can do yoga”

T. Krishnamacharya

My yoga training is in the Krishnamacharya lineage, which aligns strongly with my values of making yoga accessible, meeting an individual where they are at, and empowering people to make choices that honour their needs moment to moment.

This classical approach to yoga is breath-centred, which synchronises movement with breath, and ensures people are tuning inward rather than feeling compelled to copy the teacher.

In my classes and yoga therapy consultations, I encourage curiosity, kindness, acceptance and non-judgement towards whatever arises. I bring humour and my fur children Charlie & Harry into my classes whenever I can!

Body & Mind Connection

“Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self” The Bhagavad Gita

I became a Yoga Teacher then Yoga Therapist to broaden my Psychology practice by integrating the body into therapy. Often trauma is held physically and requires a combination of talking therapies and movement. Yoga has been integral for my own mental health, so I wanted to extend these benefits of an embodied practice to all.

As well as teaching small group classes and delivering individual yoga therapy consultations, I love creating and delivering workshops and courses, combining yoga and psychology, to yoga students, yoga teacher trainees, yoga teachers, and other healthcare professionals.

“I can say with confidence that after having practiced yoga with Natalie for the past two years, my delight in and awareness of my own body has never been higher. I know what my body can do, what I want it to do, and how I want it to feel. I can advocate for myself.”
